Today marks exactly 1 year since KENOLTA Medical Centre officially opened its doors to patients on 17 May 2021.
Reflecting on that first day, none on our team foresaw the challenges that laid ahead of our entire community.
The multifaceted impact of COVID-19 including restrictions, lockdowns, infections etc rapidly changed the course of events for a new Medical Centre trying to find its footing.
In response to an enormous challenge, we made bold and innovative decisions which enabled us rise to the needs of our Community.
– Over the last 12months, our clinicians have delivered about 7,500 consultations/episodes of patient care.
– More than 9,000 COVID vaccine doses have been administered within the last 9months and without any exception, all COVID vaccines licensed for use in Australia have been accessible through our Centre.
– In preparing our community ahead of the arrival of winter, over 800 Flu vaccine doses have been administered by our team over the last 6wks.
Our appreciation goes out to all patients, parents & guardians. Thank you all for entrusting us with your healthcare.
We’re also grateful to all partners who have played one part or the other to enable our service delivery.
Last but not least, heartfelt thanks to every member of our team who have worked incredibly hard to ensure the delivery of our fundamental commitment to “Personalised, Holistic Care delivered with Empathy and Excellence” for individuals and families in our Community.
