Dr Wei Wei
General Practitioner, Female MBBS, FRACGP, Master of Clinical Medicine
After many years of Clinical Practice as a GP in Canberra, Wei brings a wealth of Medical Qualifications and Experience to KENOLTA Medical Centre. She is very fluent in Mandarin.
A fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, her primary Medical degree (Bachelor of Medicine) was completed at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China.
Her Post graduate Education include a Teaching Qualification in Clinical Medicine, Post graduate studies in Digestive Internal Medicine and a Master of Clinical Medicine.
Before moving to Canberra, Wei practiced Medicine and taught Junior Doctors for nearly a decade at one of the biggest Tertiary Teaching hospitals in Shanghai.
She has particular interest in Health screening, Children’s health, Women’s health, Antenatal care and Chronic disease management.
Wei is a very good listener with a caring and compassionate approach to patient engagement. Her clinical practice is informed by up to date, evidence-based management.
Outside of work, Wei enjoys the company of her family. She loves travelling, gardening, housekeeping and regularly enjoys the sounds of Piano, Violin and Cello played by her kids.
